The movie has actors Tej Sapru (Daksh Prajapati) and Tarun Khanna (lord shiva) and Piyali Munshi (sati/Parvati), Zuber Ali (Bhairav), Sandeep Mohan (Brahma) starring in it.

The myths, legends and the history of the Ambaji temple is narrated in the movie. The temple which is located close to the border of Rajasthan and Gujarat is a Shakti Peetha amongst the 52 Shakti Peeths in the country where the body parts of sati fell. Since it is believed that the heart of sati fell at Ambaji, it becomes an important shrine.

Ambaji is an important temple town with millions of devotees visiting the temple every year. In the holy temple of "Arasuri Ambaji", there is no image or statue of goddess the holy "Shree Visa Yantra" is worshiped as the main deity. No one can see the Yantra with naked eye. The photography of the Yantra is prohibited. The Arasuri Ambe Mata is kuldevi of Barad Parmaras.

The Grandeur of Ambaji temple amazes devotees especially the golden dome of the temple. The origin of the Shakti Peetha status temple is from the mythology of Daksha yaga where sati was not invited by her father. Lord shiva didn’t wish to go without an invitation but told sati to go ahead and attend. Daksh insults sati during the Yagya as he has a strong dislike for her husband. Sati's self immolates herself at the fire altar, which angers shiva who starts to do the dance of destruction, tandav. A fierce warrior is born from the locks of shiva, veerbadra Who goes into destroy the Yagya and chops off the head of Daksh. Shiva roams around the universe with the corpse of sati causing chaos. Finally Vishnu chops the body of sati into many parts with his Sudarshan chakra. The parts fell on earth and become shrines which are considered as highly revered by Shivaite and Shakta sects in Hinduism. The Shakti Peethas are mostly worshiped by tantra practitioners. For example the eyes fell at Naina Devi, the yoni fell at kaamakhya temple etc. The movie is currently playing in the shrine, in 3-D theatres where devotees can buy an entry ticket and see the movie of 40 minute length.
